Who We Are:

face2face is an initiative born out of Saturn Five, a startup studio that builds innovative ventures for the common good. We started face2face to fight back against the COVID-19 pandemic by getting more masks into the hands of people across the country. This is not a financial pursuit for us; in fact we are giving 100% of profits away to the American Hospital Association’s 100 Million Mask Initiative. We also have a companion initiative called Saturn Five Health that is a wholesale sourcing opportunity to get N95 and other high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE) into the hands of hospitals. Why Disposable Medical Masks:

Disposable medical masks are something everyday citizens can wear to stop the spread of the virus. We do not want to compete with medical suppliers or take any N95 masks or disposable medical masks out of the hands of frontline medical workers. We are only manufacturing new disposable medical masks from FDA-registered facilities and then selling and donating them nationwide. Disposable medical masks are a practical and safe way to limit the transmission of droplets that come out of your mouth when you speak or exhale. According to the NIH, disposable medical masks are 2.5x more effective at filtering particles than the cotton fabrics that you might use for homemade masks.

Why Disposable Masks:

The purpose of wearing masks is to curb transmission of COVID-19. Disposable masks are a better bet against cross-contamination and particle transfer than using and touching the same mask repeatedly. The CDC advises that any mask used more than once should be thoroughly disinfected with ultraviolet light sterilizers (which most Americans don’t have) or, if cloth, to be laundered after every single use. At face2face, we think every American would benefit to have disposable masks available by every door, making it normative to put on a mask whenever you leave or a guest enters in. Together we can keep each other safe until a coronavirus vaccine is available.

We are working only with FDA-registered suppliers whose focus is on importing Level-1 medical supplies. We have built relationships with a reputable supplier network over the course of 10 years. Where We Donate 100% Of Our Profits:

We are donating 100% of our profits to the American Hospital Association's 100 Million Mask Challenge. The 100 Million Mask Challenge is working tirelessly to protect the health care workers that are protecting all of us during the COVID-19 crisis. Their need of personal protective equipment (PPE) has created a severe shortage of PPE across the world. The supply simply cannot keep up with the demand. To respond to that need, the American Hospital Association is coordinating the 100 Million Mask Challenge to increase production and distribution of PPE to our nation’s health care heroes.
